まずこの４枚組みは入門編では有りません。オリジナルアルバムを聴きまくったファン向けの選曲になっています。 ”ジャスト・フォー・ザ・レコード”のタイトル通りの子供の頃のバーブラの歌声（えらく上手いです）からこのボックスリリース時の最新の楽曲まで正にアメリカのポピュラーミュージックの歴史とも言うべきバーブラの貴重なテイクがこれでもかと言う位収録されています。でも、ポップサイドのバーブラを楽しみたいなら『ギルティ』、『ウェット』、『メモリーズ』、『ストーニー・エンド』あたりをお薦めします。でもこの４枚組みは手強いですが、一生楽しめる１箱になると思いますよ！
